 Wellington Consulting is proud of our staff's background and experience. Get to know some of our key staff members through these biographies. It will give you an idea of our company's focus and core competencies.

President and Chief Technologist at Wellington Consulting Company.

Our President, WCC's Leading Project Architect, is a design and data specialist.  He plays an active role in the software development process at Wellington Consulting Company.  He has extensive programming, report writing and database architectural experience with a broad range products consisting of Oracle, MS/SQL, Sybase and Data Design CASE products.  He is an active manager of the Virtual DBA service offered by Wellington. He also plays a role in infrastructure planning for the clients' corporate-wide technology deployment issues.

Our President’s dedication to the Financial Services industry, especially Brokerage and Investment firms, has awarded him with a reputation as one of the countries most respected financial system architects.

He has a strong background in manufacturing and distribution applications.  After acquiring AMS in 1977, he ported the Unit Trust Trading System, "UTTS," into client/server and browser technology and continued to improve the system's functionality. The "UTTS" system gave birth to the next generation system called "Unitrex," Unitrex provides a sophisticated UIT inventory, management and trade order routing for securities.  It now combines a friendlier more powerful front-end that clients can "back-end" against an Oracle, Sybase or MS/SQL database.

Our President possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and an M.B.A. concentrated in Information Systems from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y.  He has conducted lectures on programming, management and strategic planning both nationally and internationally


Chief Systems Engineer

Our Chief Systems Engineer was formerly a Vice President at Chase Manhattan Bank’s Capital Markets group before joining Wellington.  This member of our team has over 10 years of applications development experience.

His programming skills include Delphi, Visual Basic, FoxPro and Clipper, HTML, Transact SQL, SQL+ and PL/SQL.  His database expertise includes Oracle and SQL Server.

Our Chief Systems Engineer consults on infrastructure issues for our clients.  He is an expert, and has a vast storehouse of knowledge on Windows NT, Novell Network, and Internet/Intranet infrastructure design requirements.

He's earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Clarkson University.


Lead Consultant

Our lead Consultant was formerly a consultant at Chase Manhattan Bank.  He has over 10 years of Systems Development experience.

He is proficient in Visual Basic, FoxPro, C, C++ and Delphi.  His database experience includes Oracle, Sybase and SQL Server.  And he has developed systems in PL/SQL, Developer 2000, Transact SQL, DBLIB and CTLIB.

He has been very active in developing commercial websites and manages development teams at some of Wellington's major Financial Services clients.

He is a Graduate of Buenos Aires University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Finance- and an equivalent degree granted by NYU.


Chief Database Administrator

Our Chief Database Administrator was formerly Chase Manhattan Bank’s head of replication under Sybase.  He has over fifteen years of system Development and Database Administration experience.

He an expert in Database Design, Development and Administration utilizing, client-servers and object-oriented technology in Oracle, Sybase and MS/SQL. 

He has strength is in the full life-cycle Business Application Development process.  Our Chief Database Administrator plays a leadership role in the Virtual DBA services offered by the Wellington Consulting Company.

He is a graduate of the University for Engineering in Kiev, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science.  He is qualified for, and passed the Sybase Replication Server Administration course in 1995.


Vice President of New Business Development, Unitrex Product Manager for Wellington Financial Systems.

Our Vice President was formerly a Project Leader at Fiduciary Trust International with over 12 years experience and expertise with Investment Management Systems Support and Development.

He led the system enhancement efforts and program development of transaction and position-based-interfaces for several banking and investment related systems, including Vestek Analytics, Morgan Stanley’s Capital International Perspective, Advent’s Axys, NCS Series 11, and Premier’s Global Plus.

Furthermore, he has assisted in the development of a Fixed Income Multi-Currency Portfolio Investment module and in the creation of SWIFT interfaces.  Plus he has also worked with Base-Two, Wilshire, Barra, and Thomson’s Cadence Performance Measurement Systems.
